New Features Summary
Ability to Shuffle Tables within Areas (Part 2 of 2) - PPL-665
If Events integrated and Bookable Areas is enabled for a site, Tables Host users will now have the option to shuffle tables by area.
Shuffle will work as per current functionality for table allocation, however only the unlocked or unassigned tables in the chosen area will be shuffled:
Table joins & tables in multiple areas will be given priority by which area is shuffled first. Both the individual tables and the table join must be linked to an area in order to be assigned.
Pin Required for Table Plan Changes - PPL-953
In addition to existing Pin Controls, there is now the option to enable/disable a control for Table Plan changes in Tables Host.
Pin Controls are currently configured in Tables (Site Admin) > Site Set Up > Pin Control. The new control as seen below is named 'Edit Table Plan'.
When enabled for a site, only pin users with the correct permissions will be able to edit a Table Plan via the Host App. This pin control will operate as per current functionality for existing pin controls.
Standardise Telephone Validation across Products - PPL-966
Tables will now follow the same telephone validation as Events:
- Any number accepted as the first number
- No special characters except for '+' as the first character
- Minimum 8 digits
- Maximum 15 digits
